THE GOOD MORNING SERVICE is to commence shortly in Burtonport. This service is a telephone link line service for older people living in the Rosses area. The service will operate 1 day a week. If you wish to receive a phone call or wish to volunteer contact Rosses CDP on 07495 61686.

G.A.A SUMMER CAMP This years VHI Cúl Camp is being held in Dungloe GAA grounds starting on Mon 4th July until Fri 8th July. It is open for boys and girls to attend (aged 6 to 14). Garden Project:
The Maghery Centre are looking for people in the community to help out with a Garden Project on a voluntary basis. If interested please forward your name to Frances or Aine on 087 7733203.

Walk’n’Talk: Group meet every Tuesday at 2.30pm. Why not join in for a leisurely walk while catching up with the events of the week.
Maghery Day Centre for the active aged is always keen to invite new members to join the Tuesday Group. We meet from 10.30 to 2 pm, have tea and snacks on arrival and a home cooked freshly made lunch.  The group enjoys playing bingo and a variety of arts and crafts, activities plus occasional music, dancing, parties and outings.  Come and join us or ring Liz on 087 7487905

Fundraising Bowls Competition will be held at the Center for the R N L I on May 1st, starting @ 4pm.

Beach and Village clean up will take place next Sunday the 8th May.  All those taking part are asked to assemble at Ionad an Mhachaire for gloves and bags etc at 12 noon.   All children must be accompanied by an adult.  We would also ask all those with strimmers to give an evening to cut the verges etc.

Buffet & Dance (Seafood a speciality) will be held at the center on Sat 28th May.  Buffet will be served at 8.30pm and Music provided by PJ with special guest Johnny Haughery.  Tickets for meal & dance €20.   Admission to dance only €10 payable at the door.  This is a fundraiser for the Children's play area.

The Eucharistic Congress bell arrives in Dungloe 8.30pm Wed 4th May and remains in St.Crona’s church overnight.

May Day (May 1st) and Divine Mercy Sunday in Lettermacaward from 4.30pm to 7pm. An afternoon of Healing and Reconciliation through the intercession of Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta and Blessed to be John Paul II with mass. You are all invited. “Come and see”.
